Another blustery day in La Paz. We braved it though, only getting a little splash here and there on our way to shore. We headed up town to a new bank to us. We have found a bank that doesn't have a charge for the ATM, score. It also has a nice high limit as well. Then it was off to the local stores to pick up some stuff. Once done in the local downtown area we hopped the bus out to Home Depot and Wal-Mart, filled up with a few items, then back to Neos.
The dinghy is running fine although a little louder now. It was probably clogged with salt, muffling the noise. Nice to have reliable transportation back.
Around Neos, more of the same, genealogy and picture scanning skipping out on cards once again. To me, when we don't play cards it is almost like winning. At least I didn't lose.
Movie time came around and we piled into the theater to watch Argo. This was about the hostages in Iran. I remember when it all happened but never knew the crazy plan to get the people out. Especially that the US did it while Canada got all the credit. We wondered at the time. Also interesting were a few words given by the old Pres himself……more later..
