0712, Thu, 051913.  Marina Cortez.

Not a lot was done yesterday, more or less a day off.  After cleaning the boat the day before we were both pretty stiff, good exercise but ouch.

We had asked at the office if there was someone who could do some waxing of the outside of the boat.  He came by in the morning.  A nice young man with a strange nickname, Pollo (chicken).  We asked how he got it but he didn't really have a good answer.  His given name is Jesus which he said was too common, so he goes by Pollo.  I asked where he learned his English since it was so good.  In school, he said, never been to the states, in fact he said they wouldn't give him a visa.  Too bad, this kid has a lot going for him.  He said he would rather go to Canada.  I mentioned it was quite cold there and he said that was why he wanted to go.

He recommended a product, Big White Sealant/Conditioner.  He likes it because you put it on, let it dry, then wipe it off.  He said you don't have to hurry along.  If you miss a spot simply wipe it off later and it shines up.  It works well in the sun also.  I will say this, it is shining up Neos like never before.  I'm sold.

We even skipped the card game yesterday but did manage to finish up the Twilight series…..more later..
