Whew, our last day in the docks was a whirl wind day of hard work. We started out with a hike to the grocery store and back which is usually enough for the morning but then we went on to move the chain from the dock to the dinghy and back onto the boat. At around 400 lbs it takes awhile to get it all into its rightful place. Then there is the job of getting that little 55 lb anchor on the tail end.
Then the dinghy motor was too stubborn to start so after pulling on that for awhile I was ready to call it a day. Any of you who have pulled on a starter cord for any length of time know how exhausting that can be, especially when the motor doesn't want to move.
It was on to other chores, cleaning the back section of the bimini now that the scrub brush is well attached to the handle, doing wash, cleaning the boat, and on and on. We were both totally exhausted by the end of the day.
The work crew showed up and finished the waxing of the boat, wow she looks real good. We did get our nightly movie in, although it was a repeat. We enjoyed, What Happens In Vegas. Kusher and Diaz head to Vegas after messes back home, they hook up, go on a drunk and wake up the next morning to realize they are married. Oh, then they hit a 3 million dollar jackpot
more later..
