I had a rather frustrating morning. I am trying to get the doll house furniture painted and for the life of me I can't figure out the paint sprayer. I fiddled with it a bit and it actually got started. It was putting out an ok amount of paint and working well. I got one coat of paint on and then it simply stopped. I cleaned and cleaned, tore the thing apart and cleaned, changed air compressors and still nothing. I give up. Today, I will be using a brush, ha.
In the afternoon we did a little running around town, picked up a lamp at the World Market closing sale, then diddled the rest of the afternoon on the internet. Sue is looking for some material to make a bedspread. She had made several for the boat that turned out really nice.
Sue was later filling out some paper work for something or other and she needed some family information. It was fun to simply call up the genealogy page and presto, there was the needed birthdates etc. I did discover that I didn't have a birth date for my grandmother so this got me going on the genealogy once again. I had the year and finally found a month but no day yet. I think it is time to slow down on finding more people and finding more details on those I have. It has been a great hobby.
Evening rolled around and it was movie time. We started out with a Dickens thing but the acting was so horrible we cancelled that one. We moved on to a Cary Grant movie set some place in Central/South America, we couldn't really pin it down. They had bananas but were flying over the Andes. Oh well. Only Angels Have Wings. It still holds an interest to see some of these old movies. Makes one wonder if the movies of today will still be good in fifty years. Well, time to sign off, I'm verging on sounding like an old guy, ha……..more later..
