We stuck around home all day for a change. Sue cleaned house a little while I got a head start on the doll house furniture. She later came out to join in on the activities as we got the kitchen and bathrooms both complete. It started out with painting the appropriate items white, then staining the kitchen cabinets with a dark brown and the bathroom fixtures with a light brown. Then came assembly time, pretty much a one man job. With about eight or nine pieces of furniture for each room and each piece of furniture having about eight or nine parts it was a matter of starting from one end of the work table and putting one piece together at a time, moving on to the next spot and assembling one more piece. By the time I got to the other end the beginning had set up enough to add another piece. I worked this way until the two rooms were done. They are so cute.
That pretty much took up the entire day. Movie and a smoothie time rolled around with a real sleeper, The Namesake. It was about an East Indian family living in
