0716, Sat, 082413.  Rocklin, CA.

 

The furniture (for the doll house) was moved to its rightful place.  There were more than enough pieces to fill the house and it looks great.  I glued in the wall hangings, three of which were picture frames.  One had a picture of Karissa while another has their family picture and we snuck in a picture of ourselves as well.  My Dad (the architect and contractor) would be so happy to see his house once again in its rightful place, in the hands of a child.  B'day is Sunday, can't wait.

The rest of our day was filled with a visit from friends, Rich and Cathy of Bella Brisa.  They cruise six months on and off.  We met them several years ago in the Sea of Cortez.  They had been camping up at Donner Lake near Tahoe and stopped by on their way back to Alameda.  Great to see them.  Of course there were a lot of stories about cruising, then about adjusting, and about living on land.  A great time was had by all.

Movie time we spent watching a wee bit more of Ireland.  They were pretty much taken over by the Vikings at one point.  If I understood correctly I believe they were the ones to come up with the idea of an ordained King running everything but as human nature goes that turned into a King who tried to take everything….more later..
