0655, Thu, 082913.  Rocklin, CA.

 

We are still working out the bugs on some of the connections with the TV set up but it is working well.  Of course the one plug that doesn't seem to work is the hookup on the wall right below the TV.  The ATT guy came by and had some sort of solution that plugs into another spot and sends the signal via the wires.  We are now checking with the apartment complex to see if they might be able to fix it up.  Everything is working just fine, we're just trying to fine tune things.

We started the day with our Wednesday morning walk to school with the Blooms, followed with a coffee break with Michelle while Gams played dollhouse with Karissa.  Then we dropped by the library to pick up some DVDs for movie time.  Ryan was by on his lunch break so we enjoyed a great visit with him, then I headed to Karate in the evening.  Class had pretty good attendance and I managed to survive one more time. 

Movie and a smoothie was a documentary about Lake Tahoe.  It seems the area was almost stripped of all its trees around the turn of the 20^th century, but that didn't stop the people from swarming up to visit the high country.  Roads were built about a hundred years ago and the rest is history….more later..
