0731, Fri, 101113, Rocklin, CA.

It was our morning to walk Max to school, a nice way to get the day started.  Michelle is so creative.  She had gotten her sewing room painted in some nice pastels and is busy with curtains.  Of course, the old sewing machine decided to take a break so that project will take a while longer.

We headed up to Auburn to look at a fixer upper in town.  A lot of potential being that it is in a good neighborhood but what a fixer upper.  I find it hard to think someone could let a house get to such a state of disrepair, but if you don't have the money to pay the payments, you certainly don't have the money to fix anything.  The place was trashed, both from neglect and from junk left behind.  So, we have figured we aren't going to go down the road of doing fixer uppers.  This gets us back to the lot in Rocklin.

I found a site that walks you through the fees and did a step by step analysis of it, coming up with a figure just under $30,000 just for the fees.  I hope I am wrong on that.  This figure would be outrageous.  Oh well, still more homework to be done on that.

We got together more equipment to get the painting job done on the office, finally purchased the sprayer.  I would like to set it up and run a little water through it just to see  how it works before getting there with all the paint and everything.

We ended the afternoon with a good sprint of a walk around the area just to see the sights and get some exercise with the usual evening relaxing with Glee…..more later..
