We made a trip to Napa Wine Country yesterday, about an hour and a half drive from our place. They have a train that tours through the wine country with vistas of all the vineyards along the way. We enjoyed the tour but the real reason we were there was to enjoy Sue's brothers and their families. She has three brothers, who, along with their spouses, all made it for the tour coming from as far away as
Traffic was horrendous. It was stop and go most of the way home. For any of the local California people, we made a stop at the Nut Tree, a little place that got its start way back at the turn of the last century, had faded away in recent history and has returned as a giant shopping center with a little of the old stuff around to remind us old timers of the old days. I think in all, the one and a half hour trip was about a five hour trip as we tooled along at a mere snails pace, kinda like being on a boat once again.
We made it home in time to pick up the truck from Michelle and Eric for hauling our equipment to the office. We will be hitting the paint project a bit more after karate, if I am still standing, ha
