Nothing new on the property as of this morning. We headed to the Blooms' to join Max on his walk to school, then when we got back to their house, we went through the attic. I figured we may have missed a box since I knew I had a karate gi packed away somewhere. Well, it turns out that we had missed SIX boxes. We loaded up the car and still couldn't get them all in. So Michelle brought the last one over after story time at the school library. It was fun looking through some of our old stuff. Even had old school papers of Michelle's that she was able to read through and stir up memories. We stuck around the apartment all afternoon looking through a pile of library books all day and doing lots of reading. Sue's pile had to do with growing a garden that is edible while mine was on kitchens and bathrooms. I figured I might find some inspiring little ideas that maybe I hadn't thought of but there was not much new other than a good looking faucet or a skylight, nothing earth shattering. In the kitchen, I do like those dishwashers with two drawers that roll out, but although the pictures look good, you never know how well they work unless you know someone who has used one. With just the two of us it takes forever to fill the big washer so I am doing the dishes by hand instead. One good reason is, we don't have enough dishes to fill it and still have some left over to eat off of, ha.
