Happy Halloween!  It's that crazy day that brings all the weirdo out in us as we think of ghosts and goblins.  It isn't such a big deal in Mexico as their big celebration is All Saints days but especially Day of the Dead.  They even have a little symbol of the holiday, a couple of skeletons that are dressed up in all sorts of fashion.

Our big outing of the day was a trip to (try) see the dermatologist.  While living with our southern neighbors it was quite easy, simply call, make an appointment, and head in the next week.  Here, our insurance said we could go  to the specialist, that in itself was pretty amazing, but none of the specialists Sue called would see me without a referral.  She finally got a hold of a GP that didn't have a closed practice and made an appointment…for some time in January.  We decided to head next door to the urgent care clinic.  The doctor there said there was nothing he could do, I should go see a specialist.  He had no idea how to refer me, so Sue finally suggested that he write it on a prescription note.  He was fine with that and off we went.  Crazy system in these parts….more later..
