I was busy most of the day hanging out with Ryan. He had a project at work of setting up a new room at his office and had ordered three desks. I was to be part of the assembly team along with Ryan. It was a pleasure working with him, we seemed to click pretty well as we tried to visualize this desk as it laid in pieces on the floor, which side was the left or right, and where did the extension go, not to mention all the little pieces of hardware and where they all went. We were making excellent progress as we were both pretty well soaked with sweat from all the exercise when we discovered that some of the holes were missing, little brackets that help hold everything together. It was time to grab a bite to eat by the time we got stuck, so we were off for lunch and a run by my garage to pick up a drill and bits. We popped in for a quick hello to Sue and then headed back. We were done with the project by mid afternoon with three complete desks and their extensions all set up in their appropriate spot, project complete.
Our evening was spent watching some television. We have left Netflix behind and have gone on to Hulu. It looks to have much more potential for things we would like to watch although it is a little annoying with all the ads. They are short and they do give you a handy little timer in the corner so that helps a little. We watched Glee and enjoyed the improvement in the entertainment as well as seeing them grow up a bit. It is very sad since the theme seems to be "moving on". All the couples are breaking up…….more later..
