0707, Fri, 111513.  Rocklin, C.

Genealogy, the way it goes.  William Mullins was one of the passengers on the Mayflower, in fact, he signed the original document that is known as the Mayflower Compact.  Some of the ideas were taken from this pact to form the Constitution.  He, along with his wife and one son, died the first winter in Plymouth.  He was survived by one daughter (in Plymouth) and a few other children back in England.  The other children came over later to establish a strong Mullins presence in both Virginia and Pike County, Kentucky.  Now for my relative:  Sally Mullins has a document showing she married a Hiram Bonee in Pike County, Kentucky with a strong family presence in both Pike County and Virginia.

I worked for hours yesterday trying to find that one relative who hooked the two lines together without success.  Right time, right name, right place, simply no documented evidence to connect.  Oh well, maybe someone in the future will be able to make the connection…more later..
