They finally put some rain in the forecast but only a chance on Tuesday. In the meantime we enjoy this non winter.
We headed over to the Blooms' so Michelle could make a run to pick up Eric's Mom. We got a chance to play with Karissa. We were there early so we also got to hang out with Michelle for a bit as well. It was opening day for the new Dutch Bros. Coffee Shop in the neighborhood so Michelle and her friend/neighbor decided to walk over for the opening day special of one dollar for anything they have on the menu. Apparently everyone else decided to do the same. Chel said they stood in line for an hour and weren't even close. It was time for her to bail. Her friend was staying and offered to bring the coffee by later. It was another good hour later as we got updates to her spot in line via the phone. Hours later, after Michelle had made her run to pick up Eric's Mom and Max was home from school we noticed a traffic jam on our way home. It was leading to the new coffee shop. I think Dutch Bros is in the right spot!!
I spent more time in the late afternoon working on Willie Mullins and Sarah Mullins but still was unable to make the connection. I have run out of options for now so I will have to let that one rest, oh well.
We actually watched a movie last night. It was one of the latest Bond movies, Skyfall. I still see the Broccoli name in there as the producer, probably the only thing that has been constant as far back as I know. The movie had lots of good action but I'm still a little old fashioned with the great smirk that Sean Connery always had. I also miss all those little gadgets. Hey, that's just what Bond is all about. And what nerve to blow up that old relic of a car…..more later..
