0725, Mon, 122213.  Rocklin, CA.

Happy New Year to all you Solstitarians.  I hope your evergreen is standing tall.  We have now passed our shortest day of the year making this the start of the winter season.

We headed out first thing in the morning to try and beat the crowds but no deal.  The Costco crowd is an early riser.  It was so crowded down the main aisle it was almost impossible to do anything other than go with the flow.  We finally gave up the cause and left.

Safeway was much easier to maneuver.  We loaded up our buggy and then headed home.

Not much doing around the old homestead.  Sue has gotten her Christmas projects done as I sit around remodeling the new house in my head.

It looks like another one of those dry years but I guess that is the new normal now.  The people who run all this simply let building exceed the water supply so now we have a drought looming on the horizon.  Oh well, time to live on a boat and make our own water.  Ha…..more later..
