0747, Tue, 122313.  Rocklin, CA.

 The big day is almost here.  Merry Eve. 

Since Max is on vacation from school, Michelle brought the kids over in the morning to visit.  Sue had 2 projects planned.  I had blown out a bunch of eggs and we had hair and hats to make faces on the eggs for ornaments.  Then they decorated cheerios with chocolate frosting , cinnamon, nutella and peanut butter to make a bunch of "elf doughnuts".  I think more got eaten than saved to give Santa tomorrow, but they had fun. 

I think we are all ready.  Thanks to Sue's organization skills all is in order.  Our only outing yesterday was a trip to the bank.  It seems that on our last trip, which was just a look and see about small loans, the guy put us in for a loan.  Since we didn't take it they sent not one notice, but about three or four notices making it look like our high credit rating was of some sort of low standard.  Crazy, but I guess it is all OK now.  I just didn't want them messing up a good credit rating with their shenanigans.

The evening was finished up with a trip to Auburn for karate.  It was just Mike and I but that was just fine.  We went over our favorite kata, doing a bunch, then did one for each other and critiqued one another.  This is always good, giving plenty of room trying for that perfection.  Then it was home again to settle in front of the TV with Sue for a few episodes of The Good Wife….more later..
