0545, Sat, 122813.  Rocklin, CA.

 

A quiet day around the Abode, with the smell of turkey soup brewing on the stove.  We spent the morning making some ornaments out of eggs.  We had a set of egg carolers years ago but they all eventually broke.  There is only one remaining from the original collection, and Michelle has that one.  Now we have 18 new characters. And we did get out for a walk as well as a quick trip over to Ryan's place to check out the new solar system.  That is really kewl.  The guys who installed it did a great job, clean and neat.  Aside from the panels, at the other end, there is a big box.  Not sure what it does but that must house some sort of converter/inverter changing the power to useful wattage for transfer into the grid.  It will be exciting to see what happens at the end of the month when the bill comes….more later..
