A little snow, a little sunshine. Of course, my day started out with an early morning workout. I was going to opt out of practice because there was an expected nasty storm coming through and I didn't think our little car would be very easy to handle in freezing conditions. I notified my buddies in class and right away I was offered a ride in. It was really pretty. The snow was sticking along the side of the road below a thousand feet. By the time we got to the thousand foot level there were several inches.
We actually got a few snowflakes in Rocklin around noon. It didn't stick, but it is so rare for it to snow this far down the hill, it was exciting!
The day sped by and we were off to our first Christmas Party in some time at Sue's sister's place. There was a pretty good size crowd mingling and we actually knew a few people, but it was getting to know the others that was the most fun. We met a lady who grew up in
