It was grand kid day.  Sue came up with a cute little Christmas craft, making tiny edible Grinches.  They started out by putting a green grape on a toothpick, then they added a slice of banana for the furry edge around the Santa cap, then a slice of strawberry to make the red cap.  They were so cute but we found they only needed one toothpick since they were gobbled up as fast as they were made.

Karissa has gotten quite proficient at putting together jigsaw puzzles.  She has gotten into picture identification and does a fine job of picking out the right pieces.  I don't think I need mention how well Max does.  He and I did an elephant puzzle (new to the toy box).  He likes to tackle the interior while someone (me this time) does the edge.

The day was finished up with a trip to Auburn, karate night.  There is still quite a bit of snow left on the ground left from the Friday night storm.  Very different, especially this time of year.  Karate was great.  I wasn't senior member so I could immerse myself into the physical side of train, but oh those muscles this morning…….more later..
