First sanding then a little patchwork then maybe some texture, that is what I need to get done in the master bedroom. With the loan of a sanding block that fits on a pole, borrowed from the Blooms, I was able to get the first four foot section of ceiling sanded across the room. I must mention that I sound like I am taking all this credit for getting work done but we are a team. Sue is gracious enough to be my clean up crew. She heads in once the job is complete and finishes with the hardest part of all, getting rid of the mess. Thank you, Sue.
The afternoon was spent back at the apartment with the grandkid visit. Sue had them making penguins out of black olives. They had to cut a little slit in the side, fill the inside with cream cheese (the white chest), put an olive sideways on top for the head with a little piece of orange carrot in the hole for the nose, then a couple of small pieces of carrot for feet all stuck together with a toothpick. They turned out quite cute, a great idea for guests
..more later..
