We needed a run around day. We wanted to look at some pellet stoves and headed to
Thelin, a pot belly style that has a couple of places along highway 49 that sell them. On our second stop we found a better stove, nothing like a pot belly, that we sort of liked. The owner of the shop fired it up and it really put out the heat. That may be the one.
Various stops around town took up the rest of the day until the kids came over. Max brought his origami along with a couple of books of directions. He got one from the library that takes two adults and Max to understand. We worked like a tag team, trading off when we got stuck as we put together a rhino and a monkey. They turned out quite well and I think Max had a lot of fun. Karissa was kind of in her own world as she folded the paper then refused to use her imagination to come up with what it was. It was quite out of sorts for her as she simply said it was nothing.
The evening was finished with a great karate class lead by a guy we don't see much of. Craig is a teacher by trade and is very good at getting his points across
..more later..
