We had a busy time at the house putting in a full day. Sue was getting into painting the cabinets she has been so busy stripping as I puttered around with various chores. I started out with a second coat of paint to finish up the first half of the garage floor. Then I was able to finish up the electric outlets above the bench top and slide the bench back into place. Then I headed into the family room and started removing the rock and most of the face of the fireplace. This exposes the actual chimney of the unit. What a mess. It was installed just for function obviously. Bricks look to be stuck in any which way with mortar slopped everywhere. This looks like it might take some doing to demolish.
We finished the day back at the apartment with a few episodes of Glee and headed to bed, pooped after a long day….more later..
