It wasn't our normal Thursday. We started out with our usual trip over to the Blooms to walk Max to school but it was sprinkling so his mom and I drove him to school. Sue stuck around the house and played with Karissa then we all had a good chat over a cup of coffee.
Sue and I headed off afterwards for a trip to IKEA to look at cabinets then on to downtown Sac to look through the resale store down there. It is like the Restore with Habitat but through a different organization. They had lots of door knobs of which we found great prices to outfit the house.
After, we stopped for a quick bite at Wendy's then off to the show. We had tickets for Flashdance. It was fun to go to the show and we both enjoyed it. The play was pretty true to the movie including the backlit water scene.
It was a fun day and a great day getting out there and doing something different…..more later..
