0645, Thu, 022714. Rocklin, CA.

No house work for the day, it was Karissa's special day. Sue and I had loads of fun taking her down to Sacramento to the Children's Museum. It was a big hit just as it was for Max. Things have changed a bit since his visit making it interesting. Karissa got to play with a solar cannon that shot light at a solar cell race car. Funny thing, but the big hit was the grocery store, just like big brother. She shopped, pushed the basket full of goods all around, checked out with the clerk, another kid, and then put things back on the shelf. One of the other kids asked if she worked there. In the art room she made a mask then we were off to the water room where she put on a waterproof apron and had loads of fun with the toy duckies and turtles.
On our way home we stopped by the Habit Burger for chicken nuggets and fries. She wanted to sit in a booster chair but all that was available was the tall bar stool type chairs. She did just fine enjoying passing out french fries with her oversized tooth pick.
After dropping her off at home we headed to Home Depot, then for a rest at the apartment. The evening was spent bucking the rain to Auburn and plenty of exercise doing the dreadful night of kicks…..more later..
