Another busy day at the house. I got the sheetrock on the garage side of the wall and the first coat of taping is done, technically finished, but I think I will use this wall to try out the new texture machine for a test run so a little more work on the taping.
Michelle and Karissa came by for a visit, always fun to see them. Karissa was out in the playhouse in the backyard and called for me to come visit. We had a good little visit talking on the phone with Tinkerbelle and admiring the new kitchen sink (Sue picked up a bucket at the Dollar Store that fit the sink hole perfectly). Sue was able to paint the fixture that goes above the mirror in the guest bath, a perfect match with the frame of the mirror. Then it was time to quit.
We met Michelle, Max, and Karissa at the apartment. Sue was changing the door wreath to Valentine's Day décor but Max wasn't as interested in this project. He found the new wood puzzle that makes into a grasshopper in the toy box while Karissa was busy painting with water colors.
Finishing up the day at Karate Class was good. Jay and I were running class with three brown belts, all readying themselves for Black Belt testing. Another good class…..more later..
