0622, Fri, 041814. Rocklin, CA.

I had been working on a jig to do mortising with the router. I followed the instructions in one of my books, but when I went to use it, the router bit was too short. We looked online but found nothing that would work. Lots of bits were close but either too long or the wrong size shank. Frustrated, I guess the jig will become scrap and I will do the job another way.
We celebrated B'days with Ryan and Beth at Cattleman's. We haven't been there in years. It was fun chatting with R and B. We switched vehicles after dinner so Sue and I could head to Home Depot for supplies, sixteen sheets of plywood. That is a load. When we got to the house a neighbor came running over to help unload. Ron lives across the street and showed up with gloves in hand, another great neighbor. The load was done in no time relieving Sue from the duties. We then headed home, pooped from another day….more later..
