I got my first cut done on the cabinet wood. More ceremonial than productive. Sue stayed with Karissa to relieve Michelle so she could do her helping in the classroom, so after our walk to school the two of them, Sue and Karissa, had a big tea party. I headed over to the house to finish texture on the patch from yesterday and to finish up with some odds and ends. We have been putting the final touches on the desks so one is in place in the craft room the other, the roll top got a couple of blocks glued in place and should soon be in its new home as well. The roll top was giving us grief but after several attempts at getting it together with a few adjustments made, it went just fine. I can't imagine it worked too good before but now works just fine. We headed out to IKEA at the end of the workday and spent the rush hour meandering through the entire store. We found some ideas for sinks and faucets and even picked up a couple of "must haves". We were going to grab a snack at their small restaurant but they were celebrating Swedish Easter with a special dinner, so we opted for the snack bar downstairs. Rog got a hot dog and I got a yogurt ice cream. It was fun to watch people stuff their buys into small cars. Sort of like sitting in the Costco parking lot back when they first opened.….more later..
