0636, Thu, 042414. Rocklin, CA.

It was another successful day at the house. Sue completed laying tile and grouting the area where the refrigerator goes so we can get it out of the middle of the room. The final cuts were made to the existing floor tile so that should be the end of the big dust for now and I think I am ready to start on the first face frame.
I headed to karate thinking I didn't have much left in the energy department after a hard day's work but found more. Craig Stevens is a senior who drops in from time to time and is an awesome teacher . He is a teacher by trade at the tough kid high school and brings lots of energy and knowledge to the the class. I feel my learning curve was like going to a special training. I'm certainly glad I didn't miss that class. We also have a new student who did a little karate twenty years ago and wants to get back into shape. He started on a good night.
After karate we headed over to the Grand Opening (special guest night) at Boneshakers, Michelle's new digs. It is a great little place with reasonable prices and a great atmosphere. It was fun to see Michelle in her element.
Whew a full day…..more later..
