New technology, Harrumph!! I tried to connect to my blog site this morning only to find out that there is no privacy left on the computer. Without the connection to the internet, I can't even connect to my own files.
We have moved. We no longer live in the apartment. It was a fairly easy move. We filled the pick up truck and car with one last load of stuff, can't believe how much people can accumulate in a short time, and headed to the house. Sue stayed behind to direct the movers with the big stuff and followed shortly after so I could get busy with the cabinets. The movers were done in short order so Sue convinced them they should finish out their three hour minimum unloading the car and truck. How kewl is that!
We are very cozy in our new place and happy to cut out the commute back and forth. I even remembered where I live after coming home from karate. The neighbor saw the activity going on so came over the check on things. Nice to have people checking the place.
Michelle, Max and Karissa dropped by yesterday and the kids head right out to the playhouse. We all ended up visiting out there before the afternoon was over. Before they left, Sue had the kids all dressed up in our clothes so they were off to the Grand Ball. Max went along with the game but he didn't look real comfortable.
So after nine months on land, life has changed quite a bit . We still are getting used to things here, spoiled by the convenience of how close everything is. Listening to the news of all the heavy weather in the East we are glad not to be too concerned with weather on a twenty four hour, seven day a week basis. Breakfast calls…..more later..
