We move on to texture whether the walls are ready or not. One could go over the mud for ever. Everytime the light shines a different way there are new lines. Heck, that is why they invented texture. So ready or not I am done with mud for now.
The kids came over for their afternoon visit and really got into the project. It was a simple one, you just never know what will click. Sue had them cut off the corner off an envelope. This triangle became a book mark. They cut ears out of construction paper, glued on some googly eyes and drew on the mouth and nose. Max made a hand full while Karissa made a couple. They turned out really cute. My favorite, of course, was the moose but the one eyed Mikey from Monster's Inc. was pretty kewl too…..more later..
