It was installation of cabinets day. The one wall of cabinets are now in place. It was a lot of work, fitting then removing and fitting again but it all came together in the end. Now, you wouldn't believe it, but the ceiling height was just a little lower at this end than the other making for a real tight fit. I had to do some trimming here and there but finally the tall, floor to ceiling cabinet, slipped into place. It is exciting to see it all come together but don't get too excited. The boxes and face frames are only about half the work. There are doors and drawers to be made, but first I will move on to getting the island caught up.
Our neighbor came over with lunch for us. She had made a feast knowing we were busy. She smoked a couple of chickens with all the trimmings. Everything from hors d'oeuvres to dessert. So nice of her. It will easily make two meals….more later..
Happy Birthday Bill! Well, it is the end of April once again and time for your special day. Sue happened to see some shocking news in her once every six month scan of Face Book. It sounds like Nita really took a hit. I hope she is doing well. I hope you know we are always here if you need help with anything. (Nice to be back in the area)
