0648, Wed, 050714. Rocklin, CA.

We made it through the big celebration of Cinco De Mayo. Its funny how that has caught on in the US as a big holiday for the Mexicans. There is very little recognition in Mexico for this holiday, after all, it isn't their independance day, or even their constitution day. In fact it isn't even a celebration against the Spanish. One has to wonder how it has become so popular in the US.
Sue spend the morning running all over with Karissa. By running all over I mean just that. They walked from Karissa's to our house then to the park and beyond. I bet nap time was not a problem after all that.
Progress on the kitchen continues. Oh by the way, the allergies have improved tremendously. I don't know if the weather changed or the medicines have kicked in or maybe I am making less sawdust, but things are much better, whew. The island cabinets are coming together with little glitches showing up here and there but so far I am able to compensate for the little changes. The face frame is the biggest of the lot and has been glued together…..more later..
