The boards are all glued up on the countertop with most of the sanding done. The ends are even trimmed up and I have been busy scribing little tiny pieces that fill the gaps where the boards meet, a lot of work for a tiny piece. The tiny pieces are no bigger than about two inches square but they get the attention of my router, big sander, little sander, dremel and some files, all to make them fit the irregular shape of the space they fill. We have been trying to pick out a stain but so far no luck. We have another to try out from our trip to HD just yesterday. Keep those fingers crossed this is the right color…..more later..
