Sunday, Father's Day

0614, Sun, 061514. Rocklin, CA.
(sue: Happy Dad's Day big guy.)
It was karate morning so up early and head to Auburn. We did some kata then moved on to do some work with defense against knife attacks. We picked up where we left of the week before and built on that. Very interesting.
Back at the shop it was installation day for the eight drawers I had assembled. They pretty much went in without a hitch but the runners are real fussy about being aligned so a few had to come out so I could put little shims in to help with the alignment. The kitchen is starting to look more like a kitchen rather than frames with a bunch of holes. In the latter part of the day Sue and I worked with some resin to see if that would be an answer to filling the holes in the counter but it looks like it would be very expensive and I don't think it would solve our problem. Still working on that idea…..more later..
