It might just be the best day ever at the State Fair. We met the Bloom's, including Eric's mom, at the gates right at opening time. The weather was perfect, cloudy with just a few drops of rain and a cool breeze. They do a good job at the Fair, all the gardens are well kept and the place looks real clean. We saw pretty much everything there was to see, well I think we skipped the tractor building, and finished up the day with the petting zoo. I think the kids had a great time.
Sue and I headed out avoiding the freeway at the last second due to traffic and getting a little lost as we traveled across Sacramento and finally found our way to Ike, then homeward bound…..more later..
