0705, Mon, 011915. Rocklin, CA.

The drawers for the roll top desk are now assembled. The runner was the hard part. It is made from wood but fits a T shaped part that runs along the bottom center of the drawer so I had to figure how I was going to cut this little part to match. I made them up in two parts and was able to make them with the use of the table saw. If they work on the final drawer as well as they work now all will be good.
In the afternoon the sun came out. Now I must say, we are getting paid back by the sun gods. We used to scoff at the lowly flat landers who lived at the bottom of the hill in fog whenever we had to leave the heights of our sunny Meadow Vista home. Yep, pay back.
Anyhow, we took advantage of the short sunny afternoon and stuffed the green cans with branches from our freshly pruned trees. One more week should clean up the backyard pretty good.....more later..
