The drawers are now in the desk. It took a little work to get the runners smooth enough but they are now in working order. I set to work on the finishing touches, handles and fronts.
Michelle and the kids came over. Sue had the kids making little snow men. Vanilla wafers of different sizes were used for the bodies with frosting drizzled over for the snow. Strips of Fruit Roll Ups were used for scarves and candy dots for eyes and buttons then topped off with a little piece of apricot for a carrot nose. Very cute.
Being a holiday the gym was going to be closed so no karate practice. I got to thinking that if I lived closer I might just go practice anyhow (Seniors have keys). Then I got a call from Jay, he said we have keys. I said I was in. The two of us met and had a great practice together to finish up the day.....more later..
