0719, Mon, 030215. Rocklin, CA.

Eric came over in the morning to help with tree removal. We were down to the last tree that needed removal. It was at the top of the hill right in the back corner of our yard leaning over the fence into the neighbor's yard, one of those scruffy oaks that drops little leaves all year long. Another ten years and the fence would be pushed over as well. The neighbor was glad to get rid of the leaves and luckily there weren't many plants on their hillside right there. Eric and I made some preliminary cuts, not easy because of the hill and having to cut up high above the fence line. I was trying to miss a group of little trees but the lean to our tree didn't look like I was going to be able to do that. Finally the final cut and it started to go, boom. Right on target. It landed perfectly. How kewl is that.
Sue joined us and the three of us limbed the thing and had it all cut up by about noon. Job well done. Thanks Eric, for the tools and all your help.
Sue and I did a little running around, HD, picking up some posts for the arbor along the side of the house. Then we headed home and crashed for the rest of the day, whew....more later..
