I got the posts set in their holes and all aligned for the new arbor on the south side. A little concrete in the holes will finish them off. As long as we had the post hole digger I attempted to dig a couple of new holes on the hillside to plant the Japanese Black Pines in a better spot. Wow, I think the hillside is solid decomposed granite. What hard stuff. It took forever, with a lot of prodding with the spud bar (gotta hate that tool). I got a couple of holes just big enough to replant the little trees. I hope they're stong, they will need to be in order to get some roots in that stuff.
Karissa was by and later Michelle came by. Always fun to visit. Karissa was busy, all decked out as a princess and Sue was sporting a great little cape that barely covered her shoulders. What a sport.....more later..
