0703, Thu, 051911. Welcome to the wash tub. We have been rockin' and rollin' all night long. Sue said we should have been in Mazatlan by now, but we aren't on a passage. Hopefully it will calm down soon. Sue got up once and put the aloe plants on the floor and moved a couple of cups we have that are top heavy. Jim said he kept dreaming that he was in a room where someone was coming through the wall with a fire ax and the water would rush in as the boat sank, Whew!
Welcome to cruising. We moved around the corner once more heading back in the direction of La Paz to a bay called Gabriel. This is probably the prettiest beach I have seen in Mexico. The sand gets an eight or nine on the white scale and runs for a mile across the back of the cove. Cove? It is wide open to the big bay. At one time there was a fishery and pearl gathering business in the bay.
Not much more going around here. Jimbo has been playing with the SSB in the morning and has fine tuned the stations for us. He has been in contact with Nuevo Vallarta and all is good there. It sounds like Lyon Around is knee deep in looking for the cause of oil in his cooling water. Word was that the motor is now in a hundred parts all around the boat and still no clue. Yuck. Good luck to you guys.
Hey, I won the final game of 64 last night breaking my long losing streak, yeah! Life goes on……more later..
