0729, Fri, 012712.     La Paz.     Mother Nature gave us a break last night.  The wind has stopped for the time being.  How nice.

We didn't venture far from Neos.  I straightened things out in the workshop and worked on some small projects here and there.  Sue was busy on the computer with the end of the year compiling of pictures.  Rock N Roll got the motor started but it still isn't right, so they made it to the docks to tie up and now it sounds like they are going to pull the head.  It should be fixed up in a couple of days. 

We have been asking around about different boats to take out for fishing trips since Eric is interested in going after one of the big ones.  One of the guys called yesterday but it was way too rough for us to travel in the morning.  He wants us to come over for a look at his boat.  He called in the morning to say he had other business up at Palmira but would be back later in the day.  He got stuck up there and called back about three.  Now this guy has to be good.  He called to say he couldn't make it in the afternoon since his little girl gets home from school and he had to be there to help her with homework.  I like this guy already.

Card game was just so so.  Sue was hot and I was not.  Pay back time I guess.  Then came movie time.  Last nights feature, the last season of Weeds.  Mom is out of jail, no witness protection as promised.  Her husband was killed in jail but she was moved to a half way house.  Definitely not going straight…….more later..
