0727, Sun, 042912.     Isla Coronados.     What a way to start the day, sitting on the back deck, coffee in hand, the sun just peaking over the hills above the white sandy beach as a pod of dolphins put on the  entertainment for us.  It looks like about a dozen and a half to two dozen dolphins in this group but the special part is the little guys.  The babies were very excited and leaping clear out of the water, then every now and then one would simply pokes his head out of the water and look lazily around.  They are slowing down now that their bellies are full so the main show is over.  What a way to start the day.

Yesterday was great now that the wind has shifted to the south.  All the boats that were hiding on the other side of the peninsula have now come over to our side so we have about nine boats in the anchorage.  We had a great breeze during the day with no fetch to make waves, the perfect combo.  In late afternoon Rich and Cathy paddled over to exchange books, like getting visited by the mobile library bus, and ended up staying for awhile.  We had a great chat about everything under the sun.  Sorry, no solutions to the world problems but close. 

I have put a moratorium on Baja Rummy for the time being so we played 64.  I was on a roll when Rich and Cathy showed up so Sue was glad to get a little break, but as soon as they left the game resumed and so did my winning streak.  Hey Jimbo, I came through with a win!!  I love this game.  The Sopranos keep moving on with the same ole routine as we enjoy the series….more later..
