0714, Tue, 050112.     Isla Coronados.     Our special animal of the day was dolphin.  The pod hung around the bay for the entire day.  At times they became more animated than others so it wasn't a full day of doing nothing but watching dolphins.  The little ones get real excited and jump clean out of the water.  They were stirring quite close at one point when I stopped to watch and really got a great show.  Two of the adult dolphins came out of the water facing each other, jumped clear of the water, rotated together and returned to the water head first.  It was better than Sea World.  Simply awesome.

Our friends on Bella Brisa have headed back to town to stock up on food.  They stretched the food supply as long as they could.  There are still lots of boats in the anchorage but we haven't dropped the dinghy in a few days so we haven't gone around to say hi.  I mentioned before how people in this area don't seem to buzz around to the neighbors to say hi.  Funny thing.

Well, the new game feel has worn off.  Sue took both rounds of 64.  Maybe I should challenge her to sparring or something.  No, then I would be really embarrassed when she won.  Oh well.   We always share one of those little six packs of Oreos during our game.  I keep saying that's the only reason I play, but we are running low on them.  I'll be in a fix then.

Last night was kind of interesting.  Sometime in the night we started getting little bumps, small waves, and it was just enough to get the boom swinging.  I guess I hadn't tied it down sufficiently.  So I had to get up and check that.   Later, the anchor alarm had gotten enough of these calm seas so Sue had to get up and stop it from beeping, thank goodness it wasn't blowing last night.  Then, just as I was getting into sleep mode again, the screen on the hatch above the bed attacked me.  I woke with a good yell with an automatic karate block but was relieved to find it was only the screen.  Oh heart, slow down.  Next, just as I dozed again, I heard a whale spouting.  It sounded like he was right outside the window so I had to check that out.  Even with the moonlight I couldn't see anything, but he was close by 'cause I could still hear his spouting.  Ah, what a restful night.  Hard at times living in paradise.

We started season three on Sopranos.  It looks like they are trying to change things up a little with the story lines.  The FBI had the main part of the story last night as they tried to bug Tony's house.  That got a little dicey at times as they tried to sneak in while family was gone....more later..
