It was a pretty easy day. I tightened up the hatch hinges. Our windows stay open by friction in the hinge so they need a little tightening once in awhile to keep them from closing automatically. Knives were getting dull as well, so it was time to give them a sharpening.
Bahia Marquer is wide open, more or less a big dent in the side of the island. We are centered along the shoreline with two boats at either end. They are so far away it is like being all alone. While I was heading back and forth gathering tools a pod of dolphins went by but they were so far away they were almost out of sight. We have a few seagulls that are quite vocal. One flew over the boat calling out as he went. I started to answer and he slowed, making a half circle around the boat cawing, then flew on. I hope I didn't say anything rude. He seemed content.
We had our card game in the afternoon. It was a real close one. The first round I was stuck in my hand. Sue closed out leaving me with two piles of cards left untouched. I was in a hurt and ready to give it all up. Then I did OK in the second round and really came through in the third but couldn't get out in time to catch her. So close.
Tony is back to playing around on his wife but this time he slipped up. She is on to him. He has so much cash he doesn't know where to put it all so he has taken to hiding it in a bin inside a bag of bird feed out in the backyard. She caught on and has been sneaking it out when he isn't looking, but she has been taking it to an investor
.more later..
