We took a walk out to a little tienda on the outskirts of the area. About half mile down the road is a trailer park so we got the inkling to check it out, the store, not the trailer park. It was well stocked. Between the tienda at the docks as well as this little store I think one could find just about everything one would need. We even found a big box of those yummy Ghirardelli brownies.
The evening was full of great music. Blues Explosion. They had a great sound, playing oldies with a jazz twist to the whole thing. It was a funny collection of people. The lead guy on vocal and bass, was a tall, thin, Rasta guy complete with the dreds. Next to him was a guy that looked like a skate boarder playing the electric piano. On the other side was a lady who someone said looked like her old English teacher, with a belt that held a dozen harmonicas. The lead guitar simply looked like a regular guy, with the drummer out back introduced as the youngest in the group at twenty. They put out a great sound and kept us tapping our feet. Sue and I made it through several songs, having a great time dancing. That took it out of us though so we sat back and let the rest of the crowd have the dance floor.
Good thing this is the last day, we are having more and more trouble waking up in the morning. I guess we are getting too old for all this fun
.NAH!.....more later..
