0708, Wed, 062712.     Bahia Marquer.     We had a nice night last night, a little wind for awhile and then it calmed down.  The water was nice and flat all night long.

The other two boats had business in town and have left us all alone here in Bahia Marquer.  Nice to have run of the place all to ourselves.  I didn't even see any boats go by the bay.  Is there still life out there?

We did get a fly by from on of the large stingrays.  He made a big flop right next to the boat while we were lounging under the shade reading our books, woke us right up. 

I got the final touch up on the engine ridding it of the rust spot.  Looks real nice again.

We are doing lots of reading these days.  I have all the Clive Cussler books but don't have a clue which I have read so I am ending up reading some of them over again.  I enjoy how he makes a cameo in his own story.  This time Dirk Jr. and his sister Summer are being chased as they swim across a huge river in the middle of the night when an old Chinese Junk comes along and pulls them aboard for hiding.  It turns out to be Clive.  Too funny.

Our movie, City Island, Andy Garcia and Julie Margulies.  Island City is a small town in the Bronx.  The family is a bit on the dysfunctional side always arguing but never listening to the other person.  He is suspected of having an affair but is really taking classes in acting, something he always wanted to do, but is afraid to tell his wife.  Crazy.  It all gets straightened out in the end, but crazy….more later..
