We were puttering around the salon when all of a sudden there was a thud on the boat. What was that? I ran outside to look and a poor pelican had flown into the side of the boat. He must have been ok since he flew away, but ouch. He left behind a big water splat on the side. Must be near sighted, poor fellow.
We got to gather for another card game, or should I say another lesson in humility. I was hot. The Black Knights jumped into the lead, only to be trounced in the end. I don't know how they do it.
After the card game there was a dock party honoring Russ and Janet (just another excuse to have a party on the dock). It was fun, lots of good hors d'oeuvres. The sun started to set so it was time for us to head home.
Movie time: Safe House, Denzel Washington. Good movie. Denzel plays the "bad guy" who is really the good guy, the bad guys are the CIA…..more later..
