0712, Sun, 070913.  Caleta Lobos.

We had the bay to ourselves during the day so I decided to go for a little dip.  I finally got that one side of the keel that I had not gotten the barnacles off of the last go around.  As I sat on the back step donning my snorkel gear I noticed the fish on the bottom of the water.  It isn't unusual to have a handful follow you around as you scrape the barnacles, but this time, laying on the bottom, there had to be a hundred or more fish just laying on the sand.  It was really different from anything I had ever seen.  Don't have a clue why there were that many fish, a sleeping.

Other than that little break it was the same ole routine, add about another ten people to the family tree and finish up on picture albums.  By evening the wind was back to normal and we were one of four in the anchorage.

We got another inquiry yesterday from a couple who are in the South Pacific.  They have a monohull in La Paz and helped sail a catamaran (Gunboat, the brand name) to the islands.  He is now in love with cats.  Of course the Gunboat is a million dollar boat, but I won't argue if he wants Neos.  They should be heading back to La Paz in the next month or so, we shall see.

We did get in a rousing game of Baja Rummy.  Outstanding.  A great game.  Did I mention I won?

We have started the Hobbit series.  The special effects are simply outstanding.  I'm not sure why they changed the name of it but An Unexpected Journey is outstanding……more later..
