0711, Thu, 071313.  Caleta Lobos.

 

Not a lot going on around these parts.  We think of those in Colorado that are fighting fires.  If you recall, one of the couples that came to see the boat was from Colorado and one of the other prospects was a federal firefighter.  Hope all is well.

We still have our Coromuels during the night with a few hours of calm just past mid day.  It gets a little rolly at times but then calms.  We both slept real well last night so couldn't tell you much about the winds.  The usual morning breeze is helping keep those batteries full.

Sue has been working on some more pictures.  She is down to the pile of just Rog and Sue family pictures.  That is going to be a huge pile I'm sure so she will be keeping busy with those.  I keep discovering more families as the branches of the family tree spread further and further.  I found a carpenter, a lawyer, a doctor, and a guy who ran a pool hall with his son.  There were some huge families back then numbering in close to a dozen quite often.  One group came from Illinois and another from around the Kentucky area.  I got my first Civil War Draft Registration Card on one guy.

The card game didn't go so good yesterday.  In fact it went horribly wrong.  I think Sue ended up with about eleven points and I was well over a hundred.  I got a note from our friends, Jim said he was also on a winning streak.  I think all my luck sailed north with the note.  Oh well, there is always next time.

We have run out of material to watch at nights so no movie of the night.  The only thing we have left is 30 Rock.  I don't know, it just doesn't fit with me, entertaining but not that funny……more later..
