0731, Mon, 100713.  Rocklin, CA.

We have started a big project.  We own an office building in the Auburn area and it has been about ten years since we last painted it, so it is time to do it once again.  We bought the most powerful electric pressure washer we could find and it did the job perfectly.  It blasted off all the old paint and cleaned up under the eves and all down the sides.  What a great tool.  It would have taken lots of back breaking hours to accomplish the same amount the old fashioned way.  The siding looks great, it is the trim that peels and really needs the attention, so we have our job cut out for us over the next month.

My old truck, a Toyota 4 Runner, is in the hands of Michelle and Eric now.  It has well over 300,000 miles on it and still runs.  Since we were hauling ladders we borrowed the old friend which was fun to drive, lots of memories.  I decided to drop off the ladder at our place before returning the truck only to realize, once we were at the front gate of our place, that we didn't have the key to open the gate or the key to open the garage door.  Duh.  Didn't quite think that one through.

We got to visit for awhile, even got to say hi to Eric who is usually off to work.  Then we headed home.  The evening was spent watching some TED Talks but none really stood out as being outstanding, simply entertaining….more later..
